How is an OMIKE evening?
Alongside the music, whether classical or modern, each concert includes a reading from a literary work as well as a teaching of a Hebrew letter. There are 300 seats surrounding the stage, and additional discounted “listening” seats in the balcony behind the front row. From these listening seats which do not enjoy a view of the stage, audience members, standing or seated on beanbags, can enjoy the music, while admiring the synagogue’s reconstruction and beautiful ceiling, During the interval and after the concert, we offer a kosher buffet. Heaters in the synagogue garden allow us to enjoy this special space to mingle and talk.
