What are we planning for the OMIKE concerts?
Alongside the music, whether classical or modern, each concert will include a reading from a new literary work. There will be 300 seats surrounding the stage, and additional discounted “listening” seats in the balcony behind the front row. From these listening seats which do not enjoy a view of the stage, audience members, standing or seated on beanbags, can enjoy the music, while admiring the synagogue’s reconstruction and beautiful ceiling, During the interval and after the concert, we will offer a kosher buffet. Heaters in the synagogue garden will allow us to enjoy this special space to mingle and talk.
